C этим трудно поспорить, не зная, что происходит внутри samba-сервера,
то есть как взаимодействуют mandatory и advisory блокировки внутри
него.

Если никак, то естественно нам нужно использовать mandatorу, иначе
проблемы при взаимодействии с "настоящими" windows-клиентами нам
гарантированы.
